Between Xmas & New Year's Eve

Greetings from Ohio (Aka: The HEART of it all),
I have had a good Christmas and have enjoyed being with my family for the holidays. I flew into the Midwest here on the 21st and did all my Xmas shopping the following day. On the 23rd, I got to spend some time with my friend Kelly, which I always enjoy. We went to dinner at Texas Road House and I had a good sized steak for dinner. I am glad I got to spend some time with Kelly this year because I missed seeing her around Christmastime last year.

On Christmas Eve, my family & I traveled up to Ypsilanti, Michigan to celebrate with other members of my family. The Christmas eve trip is one of my favorite things to do every year. I enjoy seeing everyone and the night always seems to fly by too fast.

The picture above was taken Christmas Eve. From Left to right: My cousin Amy, me, my brother Dan, & my cousin LeAnn.
Christmas day was nice as well. As is the tradition, Dan & I went to see a movie in the afternoon (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story) and that evening we had some relatives over for dinner.
The rest of the week has been pretty relaxing with not a lot happening. Tonight I am seeing my friend Julie and probably going to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Tomorrow, I say goodbye to my folks & drive up to Michigan for the final day & a half of my trip. I will be staying with my friends John & Kelley. There is a rumor that I might be seeing a Pistons B-Ball game, but not quite sure on that one yet. The next time I type up one of these blogs, it will be 2008. I'm looking forward to whatever the new year throws at me!
