Leaving the day after tomorrow
I'm pretty sure everything I needed to do for this trip has been taken care of. All I really have left is to pack and get on the plane. The past few days have been nice and laid back. On Wednesday night I saw Wilco at the Greek Theater. I don't think I've ever had better seats at a show (other than Coachella). I was only 10 feet away from the band at the very front of the stage. It was a kick ass show & a great thing to do before leaving for 3 weeks. I also saw the New Line Movie "Shoot Em Up" in theaters on 9/7. I don't really have a lot to say about that movie. If you like random violence and lactating hookers, this is your type of film!
For now, I am just trying to rack my brain to see if there is anything I might have forgotten to do before I leave Sunday. I can't forget to bring the train tickets, which I bought ahead of time & had shipped to me. I think I am going to travel via almost every single method of transportation on this trip. Planes, Cars, Trains, Subway, Boats, Bikes, Llamas, etc. Well, I will probably post tomorrow or Sunday before taking off and then after that (if all goes according to plan) for every night while I am traveling!

Only a few weeks to go!
Any more than 12 hrs straight can lead towards unpleasant dreams where I am being chased around a football stadium by a naked John Madden screaming obscenities at me while eating mustard covered hot dogs!!! Trust me, you do not want that dream!!!
Well, it is only a few weeks to go before my 3 week vacation to Europe. I am getting more & more excited every week. I only have a few things left to buy for the trip & hope that there isn't anything I am forgetting. I am progressing slowly on the learning french, but I think it is somewhat passable right now. I can order a beer (or wine) and really, what else is there to learn?
Time for a little Box Office News......New Line Cinema released Rush Hour 3 this past weekend, to OK results. It would have been great for the movie to make a little more $$$, but it did make $50 million. The only reason that nobody is estatic about $50 million is that it cost over $140 million to make the damn thing! When all is said & done it looks like it will make $125-14o million domestically. New Line's other movie currently out right now "Hairspray" is just about at $100 million, which is great seeing as it's budget was at $75 million. There are a few more movies yet to be released the rest of the year, inclulding "Shoot Em Up" which I worked on.
Well, that is all for now. I will update this weekend (hopefully) and I am planning on beginning to uptate a little more often as my trip gets closer.
